things i hold dear to my heart,
honesty (with family, friends and workmates)
faithfulness (with the woman i chose as a life partner, pity she didn’t feel the same 🙁 )
reliability, (if i promise something i will try my damnest to keep my word)
    manners (costs nothing, worth loads).
    taking 5 as average 5/10.

jeez, i thought about this comic strip when i posted that pic of the russian 2 seat hurricane a couple of days ago. thought it was just the kind of conversion they would have in the storyline (remember the all red mossie or the B25 with more .50 cals than a flight of mustangs?)
thanks for that link, off to have a good looksee right now,

    Hi Steve,
sorry to hear this mate. i can’t even start to understand women,
i have had (probably more than) my fair share of problems with the not so fair sex LoL. still having them in fact,

no female = more spare money = more flying time 😀 😉

cheers for the info Septic, unfortunatly my computer scanner is u/s (they tend to stop working after one of the kids stands on them 🙁 ) otherwise i would put the pics on here. when i was there there were some french(?) spotter type aircraft on the other side of the hangar along with a couple of american cars, if you saw them have you any idea what the aircraft were? i didn’t get a good look at or pics of these due to running out of time.
    cheers.

Hi Guys, for me it would have to be the good old chippie, i don’t have much stick time and not on very many types, namely
    chippie X4
    venture
    cessna 152 X2
    cherokee
    slingsby glider.
so i can’t really judge on anything else, but the chippie seemed to already know what you wanted it to do and it was light and responsive, the difference i found between it and the cessna is like the difference between a ford escort MK2 and a transit van (i know i have left myself open to a blasting from cessna pilots / owners but this is just my honest opinion), i did like the cherokee though but only had my paws on the controls for about ten mins.
    Greg
btw i did enjoy flying the cessna

as far as i know the P51 could not carry a centerline tank, it did have a very good range without external fuel though.
    hope this helps.

have a radio control piper cub with a 9ft span in my mates loft (if he hasn’t gotten rid of it), it hasn’t flown for about 12 years due to its u/c being somewhat weakened by my err “arrivals” (how i landed her can in no way be described as a landing :0 ) the take off and flying bit i could do well but the other bit!!! i have got to say though, i never actually broke anything, just weakened it. (i have landed a (real) chipmunk and cessna with no problem, or bouncing/porpoising/groundloops) did once manage a three pointer with the cub though, if both mainwheels and the prop boss count that is 😀 .
the rest ended up in binbags
