Personaly i dont care what colour they are as long as somone is prepared to spend their time and their money to keep these Aeroplanes up in the air where they belong. Lets face it, we have lots of historicaly acurate colour schemes sitting lifeless in many museums.

I remember Guy Black having a conversation with a chap at Old Warden one evening who was compaining about the colour of his Spitfire as he thought it to be incorrect. Guy Blacks answer to that was, when you rebuild your Spitfire you can paint yours whatever colour you like, thats mine and i will paint it any *********G colour i like!!!!

Sometimes these things can be terribly hard to spot, although you may see the towers the wires can still be very difficult, especially in bright sunhine, belive me i know!! good to hear all will make a full recovery, im sure even the Tiger will in time
