Is the tail the Hawker Cygnet perhaps?
Bu***r, beat me to it!!
[QUOTE=ollieholmes]The tiger moth according to the caa site is in Pavenham, Bedfordshire and owned by a Mr Anthony West:
http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?categoryid=60&pagetype=65&applicationid=1&mode=detailnosummary&fullregmark=G-ANDE
Suggest you check GINFO closely. G-ANDE transfered to G-YVFS and new owner on 19/10/04, see top of the CAA site page! Check G-YVFS and see what you get.
BTW Tiger G-ANDE is operated from Sywell by Ant West…
TT
BTW G-ANDE was sold by Ant West last year and is no longer at Sywell. She has since been Reregistered as G-YVFS and live in Yorkshire
The first one was the Bishop, named after “Bish” and i guess the rest just followed the trend!
There was infact, “The Bishop”, “The Archbishop”, “The Cannon”, and “The Deacon”. All Modified DH82a Super Tigers.
i had heard it was a bit of a pig, and that it used Tiger wings!
You would get a few from here, there has been alot of interest lately. Also the Aerodrome website.
Hi Sherlock. So far there has been no trace of “Wings” ever being released onto VHS. I have copies of some of the episode’s that were recorded of of TV Gold but other than that it appears to have been lost to the BBC irchives!!
Maybe we could badger them to release it onto DVD!!?

And i bet she still looks good!!!?
Depends what you class as a VERY big connection, my connection with them is that my late father flew the A/C in question for the films in Ireland. As did he fly the other film replica’s that were used at that time ie the DVII’s, DR1’s and SE5’s.
He was kiled in 1970 whilst flying one of the full size SE5’s for the film Von Richtofen And Brown. Its funny, after all these years how the interest in these A/C seems to big at a high at the moment. I agree with you, they have done a fiantastic job with the “RUBBER” DIII, been trying to find out what happened to the DVII’s, one is on rebuild with the Stampe museum in Antwerp, but as for the other 2 ?
Reno is quite a spectacle!! all of it! it think that there may be a photo prob with the MB5 shot, i dont remember it being that stuby when i saw it a while back!?
Be great to see it!
Well Dak’s Dak then! 😉
I don’t think we should lower ourselves to the level of media speculation. Let’s leave it to the AAIB to sort out.
Enough said. Condolences to all concerned.
Or this one.
