As if a libation ever passes our lips……..

Hmmm that old EMFC building sounds interesting. How about an annex to the Sywell aviation museum housing, Messenger, Tiger, Luton Minor, Pou…………..

    Drink!, who said drink,hic! mine’s a Guiness!
EMFC building indeed sounds interesting if it still exsists, could it be incorperated into the Museum?

your right TT, looks like “Kelly’s Heroe’s” type flick. And i love that film, looks like a bit of a light hearted romp.

What we need is real aeroplane, some nice replica’s will do the trick, even large scale models can be used to good affect. CGI has its place, but please not when the real thing can be used!!!!

Is this the same film that has been discussed on the Aerodrome Forum? if so it apparently has very little to do with the real story of the Red Baron! Still hopefully it will be a good flick with some loverly old aeroplanes in it, and good to see the continued interest in WW1 aviation Films!!
Who knows GASML, the BE may get her starring role yet!!!!?

And when exactly did you see it Mike? Was it sometime afterwards or did you see it actully happen i’e the aircraft landed with the prop missing? The prop was removed after the incident…..

Lets just say some of us on this forum have a little more ‘Hands on’ knowledge of things like this than others, and I hate to see tabloid journalism creeping into this forum 😀

I have heard that what is left of the ‘B-4″ is at Carr Farm with Cliff Baker under a slow rebuild, or maybe he is building a replica using some of the orignal parts, but I have seen photos of one (or bits of one) in his workshop.

Unfortunately, if its with Cliff Baker its unlikely to ever see the light of Day!! He has many Auster treasures at Carr Farm, all hiddden away and its difficult to get anything out of him.
