    10-1 or 10-2 ?? Tapered or splinned crank. Vintec may be your best bet. For a tapered crank the tool threads up the inside of the hub and pushes on the end of the crank to push the hub off. I used to have a tool, someone borrowed it and never brought it back and then moved to NZ!!!

    I Belive Neil Williams did one, not sure where you would find a copy though. He reportedly did one for our BE2 as well but so far it hasnt surfaced. I will ask Lynn his brother if he knows of a copy.

    without trying to be clever
    i think in the main that aircraft just quoted with a serial number are of British build. or generaly aircraft that are famous on the airshow scene or for being sole or one of few survivors in museums etc.
    American tend to be called by the nose art they carry
    German,Italian,Russian etc aircraft tend to be called by their manufacturer name.
    hope that narrows it down for you a bit
    even the aviation mags quote aircraft by the serial number ie PA474 and if you dont know which aircraft that is then shame on you lol

    I do hope you posted that tounge in cheek otherwise thats the most condesending thing i have ever heard and kinda make my point perfectly:mad:

    The last bit of that film shows just how triky this beast is, full size or not with power applied he nearly lost it off the side of the runway:eek:

    This was cause for some spirited discussion at Todays Display Pilots Seminar at which the CAA representative present got a fair bit of stick, he however could tell us little more than what is enclosed in the issued document.
    His advice what to make contact on the email address published and express your concerns, enough pressure could force a change, maybe!!!!

    Seriously though, if I can think it, then the terrorists can think if too, and so should the authorities, and that is why we have an effective (?) exclusion zone around London.

    Regarding terrorism, as long as they think big we are all safe. I could go into detail about what these terrorists could do, but won’t.

    And a terrorist with a cessna packed full of explosives is going to comply with the no fly zone???? I think not!
