Gone a wee bit quire here? All gone to sleep? Common folks show us your latest works please! 🙂
I have no recent finished pieces (very busy making new models) but here are some more Mustang profiles meanwhile:
First a famous one, “Daddy’s Girl”, a P-51D-10-NA serial 44-14733 as flown by Ray S. Wetmore of the 370th FS/359th FG.

Next the aircraft flown by my friend Rene L. Burtner Jr., who sadly passed away earlier this year. It’s P-51D-20-NA 44-72366 “Hubert” of the 369th FS/359th FG.

Good job on airlifting that Meteor. This F-80 wasn’t as fortunate… Painful to watch!

Focke-Wulf S 24 Kiebitz?
The loud award for me goes to the Antonov An-22. It visited Amsterdam airport once and was promptly banned from Dutch skies as a record amount of complaints came in.
At the time I was living about 20 miles away from the airport and when it flew over the windows in the house where shaking for several minutes! It was absolutely incredible.

Romanian MiG-23 in 1990. That last pass is amongst the best I’ve seen when you compared speed vs altitude. Wow!
