YB-60; to be precise the second B-60 (49-2684), which never flew.
Ha, funny that… Out of the thousands of airplanes that exist, a Canadian Vickers Vedette was to be the next one I was gonna post! Ironically, as my picture was from a completely different angle, I don’t know if I would’ve recognised RAB’s! 😮
The floor is yours RAB! Show us your moves! 😀
I did think those trees looked rather Australian, but then started looking in South Africa instead! 🙂
Well played!
Shall I…?
Glad you like it RM! I have a nightfighter model in the works too, nearly complete.
JT442, thank you very much for your kind comments!
Ironically, my 3D art actually is resembling engineering more and more, as the amount of detail I put in each model seems to increase per project. On the I-16 I have modelled grooves in the screwheads, as you can see. What’s next!! 🙂
Could this be the South African version, “Rio de Janeiro Briton” by Wolseley? Couldn’t find any pics to confirm…
On further searching, this would appear to be one of them… another aircraft then…

Just found an interesting image while looking for info on Chinese tanks…

The other day I started a Facebook page for my artwork. Please have a look (and perhaps a Like? :)) at http://www.facebook.com/aviationart.aero
Some things you’ll find there are some current work-in-progress projects, such as the I-16 and Ju 88 A-4:

Thanks for the info Ivan!
Avro Avian, that looks awfully familiar… but since it isn’t what it seems I’m a bit puzzled still.
If I’m not mistaken, it’s actually the Avro 514. This is a modified 511 with swept wing and skid.

Well done, over to you!
I gotto try harder…
I’d never seen the plane before… but in those days they had such simplistic names they’re easy to find online! I first did a Google for “1914 pusher monoplane” and found some slightly more advanced designs, so tried “1913 pusher monoplane” and there it was! 😀
Okay, next:
I will then… Borel 1913 Pusher Monoplane?
O now that is something else… Voisin meets Fokker.
An interesting monoplane.
French, I am guessing?
Well done! I gotto try harder next time… 🙂
