Love the elevated shots. Is this monopod something self-made or are they readily available?
Keep in mind that Google Earth images aren’t actual and could be over 5 years old.
My home was built in 2003 and it’s still not on Google Earth (although for a very brief period it was, oddly enough!)… and that’s the UK, which has a much better coverage.
Sorry for the *bump* but surely some of you folks will be visiting Duxford this weekend? 🙂
Esp. the last bunch are fab!
Finally an update!!!

…and what it looks like in wireframe:
Thanks for the info and for the heads-up on the book 🙂
Mexican T-32 Curtiss Condors confiscated at poss Veracruz, Mexico c. 1940s before being shipped to Europe.
Now there’s something you don’t see everyday! But shipped to Europe? In 1940? How odd… Where did they go, and what happened to them?
Far East !!! Is that like to the right of Lowestoft ?
To be precise, it’s right underneath Lowestoft. You just need to dig a few thousand miles and you’re there 😀
(be sure to dig in the right direction, cause if you dig into the Indian Ocean you might just flood Lowestoft and we wouldn’t want that to happen now do we…)
the important role that Chinese people play in Great Britain today
not to mention Chinese T-shirts!
Yeah but its not the same container, the one in Melvs shot is still at Sea!
Lemme guess… wings and Chinese T-shirts?
Here’s what was in TFC’s container.
How disappointing, it doesn’t even have wings :diablo: …or Chinese T-shirts :p
Does this mean it’s a Australian P-51 thats the surprise this year?
How about one of these: http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=56551
And stuffed with Chinese T-shirts of course, nice and soft, so the content doesn’t get scratched on stormy seas 😀
It’s a pretty long container, isn’t it? Perhaps it contains the world’s only airworthy V-2 rocket! :p Now that would be a highlight for Flying Legends 😉 (That and a Flugwerk Fw 190 and Texas Me 262…)
O dear…

:diablo:
And if you think that was bad… http://www.pixagogo.com/6163285126
They should’ve flown it over! 😀
I took 350(!) photographs of the Wyvern in the FAA Museum last year. So if anybody needs any details… 😉
WILL IT BE AT LEGENDS
O you beat me to it 🙂
*dreams of a formation flight with the Flugwerk 190 at Legends…*
