It’s an Ikarus 522, a Yugoslavian trainer.
Very nice video!
Don’t you just love that site? 😉
One more then… Swiss air power… awesome!

A little bit of low flying, a lot of great visuals and some terrible music 😀

Now here’s one crazy ……

Holy schmoly that was close… 😮
PS. This one’s not necessarily on-topic but I thought I’d share anyway:

Call that a runway?
Thanks, those are indeed the drawings I managed to find in the end. They’re far from perfect though… The length seems to be off and top/side/front views etc. don’t match at all. But it’s the best I have so far.
Does anybody know if factory drawings are preserved anywhere? I know the RAF Museum has lots of Supermarine drawings, but where did the BAC/EE drawings go?
Thanks!
I don’t think anybody needs telling that those “RAF Tornados” in Anna’s first video were actually Belgian Alpha Jets? 😉
The second vid was very nice… good to see the Victor too. What a beast…
Speaking of beasts, here’s a low pass by a B-29.
From this site with loads more great photos: http://members.tripod.com/~imogiri/lincoln.html
PS. If I remember correctly, that helo crash involved some fatalities 🙁
I believe those French air force movies have been posted a few times before. Doesn’t hurt seeing them again though 😉
Something that popped up next to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTa6j-ogzjs&mode=related&search=
I’m always amazed by the agility of gliders at low altitude. Last year at Old Warden a glider did three loops in a row at very low altitude. Very impressive!
Now here’s another nice low pass… I think these guys wanted to copy the famous Spitfire “F me!” video 🙂 I guess they succeeded!

(nb. language alert!)
Great job x2! 😉
Great shots, in particular the headon Chipmunk ribbon pickup. The last pic of the Hungarian Gazelle – “boring” as the subject may be – is a great shot too!
Looks like a must-visit-next-year! The landing shots are wonderful, as are some of the artsy wide angle ground shot. I particular like this one – hiding that ugly cowling: http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=134239
Something went wrong with the aliasing though?
Thanks very much guys, glad you like ’em! 🙂
I see I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum… Could a mod please chuck this thread into the photography forum please? Sorry for the trouble! 😮

It was a cracking show. My compliments go to all involved, but I would specifically like to mention the pilot of the Sea Hurricane, Gladiator and Provost for some fantastic flying, allowing many photo opportunities, as well as the BBMF for an excellent Lancaster display.
Let’s hope the next show with the stunning looking Seafire will not feature “The Cloud”… (all photographers know what I mean…)

PS. Thanks for the guys who recommended me to buy my new Canon lens from Kerso. I’m now the proud owner of the 100-400 DustPump(tm)! 😀

LOL! That simple ey? 🙂
