But what a cool design it was! Great photo Duggy! π
This wasn’t supposed to land for days on end:

It’s the NX-2 nuclear-powered bomber proposal, its range only limited by its crew’s endurance.
From sun bathing F-16s to a foam bathing one, with friends.

Indeed, Mike got it right. It’s the turret from “PBY-5A serial numbers 46580 through 46638”, or so says the manual.
Over to you!
Bit of a twist to the theme: a page from a maintenance manual. What aircraft does this turret belong to?

Potez-CAMS 160, the 5/13th scale flyable model for the large Potez-CAMS 161 flying boat. Here they are together:

Smug points are yours, open house it is! π
Alrighty… this shouldn’t be too hard:

Excellent shots! I particularly like the Mystery Ship against the trees. Too bad the sky wasn’t terribly photogenic that day.
Relisting items, perhaps with censored tags, is an option. But needlessly time consuming and sales through Zazzle are slow anyway, so hardly worth the trouble. I’ll definitely be looking for alternatives.
It all seems rather pathetic to me.
My thoughts exactly…
QldSpitty, maybe this helps?

This is the one the RAAF had removed:

Old roundels, no RAAF titles on the aircraft. So the artwork is all-clear, I think. I simply put RAAF in the search tags so it shows up in Google searches. It was enough to have them target it.
It’s not as much the roundel as the term “Royal Air Force” and “Royal Australian Air Force” which have been trademarked now. However they try their luck when they can.
One client of mine does a lot of work relating to the RCAF and indeed has to pay license fees for using their name and insignia. Compared that to how everything USAF is public domain…
I just heard back from Zazzle after expressing my disapproval of their actions and it turns out it was the Royal Australian Air Force this time. Of course, they’re all at it now!
“Thank you for being a seller at Zazzle! We would love to offer every design that our users submit, however we must abide by all applicable laws and standards as well as our own content guidelines and copyright policies. Unfortunately, it appears that your products did not meet Zazzleβs Acceptable Content Guidelines. Specifically, your products infringed upon the intellectual property rights of the Royal Australian Air Force. We have been contacted by legal representatives from the Royal Australian Air Force, and at their request, have removed the products from the Zazzle Marketplace. We are sorry for any disappointment, but hope you will understand our position in this regard.”
Yes Zazzle, I understand your spineless position in this regard and will be looking elsewhere to have my printing done. Sigh…
And there we go again, more products removed from my web shop today thanks to the RAF copyright morons!!!
It appears the RAF has too much money to spend, so they’re hiring baboons to track down artists/photographers trying to make a living! No wonder, with all the Harriers gone, they must be swimming in cash, and no clue what to do with it. BAH! π‘
From a Blackbird to a Blackhawk… a Lego one at that!
