is said possible. the example u gave is a good example of who someone can be biased even if he knows his stuff.
if (when is probably more appropriate) china does allow the PAF to buy the J10, it wont really mind what the PAF do with them as long as they dont hand a few over to the CIA or sell them off to a thrid party without permission.
PAF can add western avionics if they wish, the main problem would be what western avionics the PAF can get for the J10, and whether they can intergrate chinese weapons with them. (AMRAAM etc would not be a good choice as the US can embargo the supply of the missiles)
“To return to ‘stupid’ pheasants again for a moment, stupidity is a human concept, it does not apply to the natural world.”
juts because humans invented the term stupid does not mean that stupidity is exclusive to humans.
it might be unfair to judge whether wildlife is ‘stupid’ by human standards, but trust me, animals sometimes also do stuipd things, even by animal standards. 😉

well its a fact that the stars are moving away from each other. if u reverse the direction that they are moving, u eventually come to a single spot. there also so fancy maths that proves that sometimes matter just randomly appears out of nothing. dont ask me what the theory is called. myabe someone else remebers.
im not against free thinking, in fact i hated having to hoop-jump in school. but there must be some evidence to back up ur ideas, or else we’d never agree on anything.;)

problem with that is the possible lack of objectiveness.
interesting diagram. however, with a ship that size, would a ski-jump really be needed?
well its pretty much proven that even the universe has a begining, and possibly an end too. so it would be a little odd to suggest that lifeforms dont have a begining or an end do u think?
also, sharing similar or even the same DNA segments with vastle different looking creatures help to prove the trial and error theory in that it suggests that things change and dont stay the same for very long.
not a very pleasent concept to think that the hamburger u just had may have been one of ur cousins, seperate by a few million generations…
but if u dont think the trial and error theory quite covers evolution, what would u suggest would be more plausable?

“And if it is just the survival of the fittest, the MB5 would still be around instead of loads of Spitfires.”
ahh, but we humans are sentamental irrational things arent we.;)
just think about it, what other lifeform would consider popideal as anything but an utter waste of…well everything, time, moeny, braincells…

well its a little egocentric to think that we humans are so special that we are some brand new super-duper mirical creation. for all we know, humans were once just straige monkies that were bullied by the other monkies?
the chimps share like 96% of our DNA.;)
