“Who cares what the UN says? They have as much power and say in this world as Afghanistan.”

so i guess the only thing that counts anymore is brut military force right?

“The USA would also go to war against China if Taiwan was invaded. That doesn’t really sound like a One China Policy to me. But you guys can believe what the Americans say in public and believe in the One China Policy.”

dont be so sure abt that buddy. the US MIGHT intervine, and then again it MIGHT not. the One China Policy is in reality a back door just in case the US decides someday that taiwan is not worth thousands of american lives and economic hardship.

“”I mean people here have a tendency of saying all Chinese planes are MiG-21 variant.”

That is only because it is true.. I. E. FACT. lol.”

i see we have another one who chooses not to live in the here and now and preffers the ‘good old days’ when ppl still believed in the american government.

if the claims are true that the UK bugged annan’s office in the UN, then that would have been illegal under international law, and probably a few US domestic laws as well (thats probably why the US ask the UK to do it).

but no matter who did it, the UN Secretary General would not be too happy with the buggers invading his privacy.;)
