interesting idea, but it doesnt seem to hold with physics. the ‘kinetic’ weapons were designed to work like dropping an anvile on sth. bacause there is no explosive warhead, no sharpnal is sent flying in all direction, but a 500 lb slab on concrent dropped from 20,000 feet would still creat one hell of a big a$$ crater where it landed, and there is no crater that big within view.
it almost look like that the plane was blown up by a charge from inside or under the plane. the question is, why would the Austrailians or whoever captured that position blow up a perfectly good a/c if they can get close enough to planet a bomb on it.:confused:
it might be the iraqis that did it, but i heard that they preferd to bury their a/c instead of blowing them up. doesnt make alot of sence.:(
