On the subject of BBC bias, it would seem that our former PM felt the BBC was not giving its viewers enough ‘remain’ coverage!

Fallon – Britain Will Veto Creation Of EU Army
Now we’ve voted to leave that so called ‘Trading Block’, it’s interesting to note that the creation of an EU army is back on the agenda again: –
Now, roll the clock back a bit to March 2015, and remember the words of Nick Clegg: –
EU army is a ‘dangerous fantasy’
Somewhat ironic he should use the words ‘dangerous fantasy’, as the notion that the EU is all about trade, trade, trade, and only trade, is exactly that – a dangerous fantasy.

And they have also asked for, and been granted police protection: –

Disparage him if you must. I wonder what you would have done in similar circumstances ? That isn’t an easy question to answer – is it ?
Voted to remain I think!
Oh, sorry, wrong thread!

I just had a look at the FL aircraft participation page, and note that sadly a few more aircraft have now withdrawn from this year’s Legends.
Albatros DV.a ZK-TGY
Morane 406 HB-RCF
Supermarine Spitfire VIIIc D-FEUR
F4U-5NL Corsair D-FCOR
A shame, but still a cracking line up!

The new scheme does indeed look rather nice!
A great effort by the Air Leasing team, and good to have G-CBEL owned and based in the UK again.

So Who Are the ‘Smart’ People Now!
As David Dimbleby said to Hilary Benn in the early hours of last Friday morning, it would appear it’s taken 40 odd years for people to cotton on!

I was watching an interesting discussion between the business correspondents and financial guru’s on CNN earlier this evening, and the consensus was that investors, and everything and everyone else involved in the financial markets, took the popular opinion that Britain would remain.
So it’s all very well people pointing fingers, but as was pointed out on discussion on CNN, they only have themselves to blame, for not considering (even if it was looking highly unlikely) that the vote would go the way it did.
The fact of the matter is, t would seem almost everyone and everything that was convinced vote remain would be the winner, did not have a plan B!
And all the ‘doom and gloom’ leavers that keep pointing out people will only be losing money, are not being truthful with themselves.
As was, and has been pointed out elsewhere, a lot of people will see there’s plenty of opportunity to make money with investments and other financial dealings and take advantage of an apparently ‘disastrous’ time.
(Just as they have done through history when other world or political issues, have had a negative impact on the financial world).
