kewl… I’m quite pleased that Druk Air opted for the A319 as opposed to a member of the Embraer family or another RJ, great stuff!!
anyone have any more news about the MYTA320 that suffered the tail strike at BRS??
cheers,
LGKR
is it just me or is MR IAM aka EAL_KING coming across as one big liar!?!?!?

robc, i’ve got to disagree there. had ok experiences with both easyjet and ryanair but to be honest, found that ryanair had the edge. onboard service was certainly better on the FR flight as was the flights’ punctuality. however, my easyjet flights to different destinations gave me alot more flexibility with my travel. tickets onboard ryanair were also cheaper – admittedly, to different desinations though
i like this new uniform for the flight crew, its morealess identicle to the corporate wear we have to wear at work now!
its not totally casual looking i dont think, its still very smart. as long as they are comfortable for the pilots to wear, as per the specification then it easily does its job!
LMAO greekdude :-d
is “santa” not the callsign used for the new airline Air Scandic was or is to become, Air Finland or something like that!?!?
Tom-Cook?
I like most charter callsigns, Expo (XLA), Jetset (AMM) and Kestrel (AIH) were or are classy callsigns! Anyone have any idea what Ambassador Airways (AMY) used?
You guys are right with the speedbird thing, its pure class that i don’t think could be beaten!!!
Wys mentioned the ineuendo with the globe and condom thing; couldnt the same be said for “virgin” and “easy” in similar contexts!?!?!
clear skies,
LGKR

As far as I know, the Fokker 70’s that operated from Bristol were replaced with Fokker 100’s not so long ago in an attempt to boost available capacity.. i’ll check it out again later!
I don’t know if or not I mentioned it before, but flight 7772 was only about half full wheras the saturday morning return flight only seemed to have the odd spare seat. probably not gonna make any difference to you knowing this, just trying to explain a reason as to why there were 4 then 3 cabin crew members 🙂
Just looking on ryanair.com for where I can go to next, just waiting for my wages going into the bank first :-p

757!!!
for a charter carrier if possible, wud be my dream come true in fact 🙂
LGKR
the numbers e.g. in 8L and 8R are according to the heading of the runway i believe. so the runways in this case must be facing a heading near enough 80 degrees give or take wotever ammount either side.
anothr example wud be to take meigs the flightsim default airport; runways are 18 and 36 which means that they are near enough facing 360 degrees north and 180 degrees south.
i think im right anyway lol

i think the interiors of our lovely charter aircraft here in the UK deserve mention. cant mention the number of times ive been on a flight where the seats have been dirty or torn and the panelling and walls still stained from cigarette smoke from when smoking was still allowed on flights.
im probably going back a fair while now, but the 757 birds that were once with Eastern especially stood out in my mind when i read the post, absolutely nothing like the lovely clean and pleasant JMC757’s I’ve travelled on these past few years, simply brilliant!! 🙂
