whats the latest on filton Rob
I will miss my BAE flights there
i think it was the budget restrictions that limited the remote control
but what they managed was fantastic
the old days were great
the 70s at Ringway when you could walk to the end of the piers, or if the weather was bad you could sit in the main terminal at the windows after passing the fantastic chandelers (where are they now) ?
Ringway has a good viewing park, with exhibits etc
but its not the best position, when the built the 2nd runway it was planned to be moved to behind the ew runway and beside the old on in the South east area of the airfield, shame this never happened
seems a bit different that TCX just chartering aircraft, in 2008 when i went skiing we flew on a BMI A320 for the TCX flight
as i warned it has happened

this weekend near Heathrow
we had a similar airline up here at Barrow 1985 to 1988
Air Furness, they had a few mishaps too many for a 1 or 2 plane airline
if the body had fallen out like in the 70s and landed on someone or thing in Staines of west London
i think the story would jave been bigger in the news and more action taken
but as he remained on the plane during the landing phase it was not a big story
Its another case of the regional airpoprts getting the out dated equipment.
personally i think its a bit of a liberty putting a plane with no personal IFE on such a route. I bet a browse of the airline website will show all it has to offer on it blue riband route aircraft!
I am waiting for someone to do a photo manipulation of a pendolina train with wings
Those OLT ones could easily get Virgin Europe markings for the new Manchester -Heathrow flights in March
So have Ryanair bought a prototype 737 from Boeing and not bothered to have it repainted?
well i guess thats one skywest Challenger 200 i wont be on next Friday for my Vegas-LAX hop
Cant remember the catering i was only 7
but i remember that we were sat 2nd row and when the hostess closed the door the guy on the front row passed out!!!!!
my child hood memorys flooding back with court pic
kinky apron though!!!!!:diablo:
thats exactly what i think about the A340-600 i missed out getting on a DC8 as a child, so looking forward to the stretched A340.
Regarding the flight i am not sure if its just the Sunday nights that they use a 747, that is sad as thats the one we have booked
the middle sector Vegas-LAX we are on a skywest Challenger 200 another new type!!!!!
