Just to clarify a couple of points .
The cost of the one way flight from Prestwick to Stansted last Sunday was £160.00 NOT PEANUTS I would suggest.
The baggage was domestic not international SO where are customs involved.
Sunday was New Year’s Day NOT a busy flying day. In fact, the only other flights on the domestic stands were an Easyjet flight from Edinburgh and an Air Berlin flight from Glasgow.
I reckon 600metres tops from hold to belt taking 1hour 40minutes.
Still I reckon that Stansted is worst of all airports when it comes to efficiency in dealing with customers.
