It baffles me how any reasonably intelligent woman could stick that thing on her head and fail to notice that she looks a complete plonker.

I reckon she did it for a bet.

A reasonably intelligent woman wouldn’t have !!! :diablo:

If you’re heading for Fremantle, try the motor museum as well. Well worth a look.

Remember the Ju at Dyce. Had a mock dogfight with G-FIRE which had strobes in the cannon barrels to simulate gun bursts.

There was only ever going to be one winner !!!

    Nicked from the web…….

Super glue, Krazy glue, Eastman 910 and similar glues are all a special type of glue called cyanoacrylates. Cyanoacrylates were invented in 1942 by Dr. Harry Coover of Kodak Laboratories during experiments to make a special extra-clear plastic suitable for gun sights. He found they weren’t suitable for that purpose, so he set the formula aside. Six years later he pulled it out of the drawer thinking it might be useful as a new plastic for airplane canopies. Wrong again–but he did find that cyanoacrylates would glue together many materials with incredible strength and quick action

So originally developed with the intention of helping to put bullet holes in bodies, and later actually used to try and close up bullet holes in bodies.

Anyone have any idea what year the Google Maps image of Biggin Hill was taken? Looks like the Air Fair, with B-17, VC-10, a plethora of Spits, and interestingly (if you look at the main runway) the Reds just landing on.
