My congressmen have heard from me and I suspect they have heard form plenty of others. Dont be surprised if there are repercussions for the UK’s “compassion” for a mass murderer. .

Just vindicated my point ,if American dosnt get it own way , just Bullying tactics again

The problem is that one man decided to change the term of punishment So one man overules what society has deemed. I don’t find that justifiable.

One man who was elected by democratic process who applied Scottish Law to a Person found Guilty by a Scottish Court and Imprisoned in a Scottish Prison, not found guilty by an American court, American judge and not held in a American Prison.

thats the problem that Americans can not accept just because we have our own laws and rights which American has tried to infulence and not succeeded.
America should take a closer look at their own system before judging any other country

Sorry, I had to chime in when I saw this quote. So Scotland is the victim in all this? Did you really think the Scottish “justice” system was going to get a pat on the back for this? This guy was let go not because he won an appeal, or was found not guilty. He was let go because his testicles were going to fall off in a Scottish Prison, and the Scottish Parliament didn’t want to be responsible.

For me the answer is simple, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Whether he was guilty or not, he was still found guilty by the Scottish Justice system. So one guy decides to undo all the work of the people who took 2 decades to bring this to trial. Sorry that’s not justice.

    Regards,

    An American

He was released because a Westminster Government signed an agreement with the Libyians, , not the Scottish Government
He was convicted by a scottish judge Using evidence provided by the USA and the CIA and we know how reliable those agencies have been in the past

    Regards Kevin (A Scotsman)

I noticed in the papers today that the chief of the CIA has had his say , maybe he should take a really good look at his own organization before opening his big mouth, better still lets have him locked up for all the atrocities that the CIA has behind,

The Scottish legal system was dupped by the CIA and the USA and it was a disgrace , Yet again an inoccent country is left to clean up another countries mess
There is no doubt in my mind he was not guilt ,and was made a scapegoat of
But what makes me even angrier,is watching the Yanks trying to interfere with the politics of another country, that half of the population could even place on a map

What next will we ( The Scots) be preparing for invasion as that seem to be the way of America when it dosent get it,s way

Kevin( going to the army surplus store for my WMD):p

The beardy one is on a hiding to nothing here,If the US agree with his comments about BA/AA , then they will have to take the same attiude with VA/DL deal , either way he has dug himself into a large hole .
I can smell the scent of a Humble pie being baked coming from Waterside ,cause some one will be taking large mouth fulls, you never know he might have to shave that beard off to eat it all

Looking forward to see “NO WAY VA ” painted on BA Jumbos soon:diablo:

Hay Sandy might be time for one of you’re great renderings;)

Face it, by the time we have had the Public Enquiry, and the reroute to avoid Joe Blogg’s house at £34 million.

The follow on Public Enquiry on the proposed new routing, the then major shortfall in funding resulting in the track ending at Watford junction and busses utilised to continue the journey to Waterloo.

Followed on by the indecision as to who is going to fund it, the Public Enquiry into that, the purchase of the land on the planned route, the Public Enquiry into that.

The Part Industry ownership iniative and the Public Enquiry into that along with the one for it being awarded to a Foreign Company then the no doubt legendary British over runs on time, cost, finished product and usage along with the Enquiries and appeals into that lot.

The world will have run out of Oil and we will then be looking at paving over this new super highway on the ground for walkers and cyclists to get around the UK.

Its only taken them 20 years to agree that Heathrow gets it third runway , how long before it actually gets built another 20 Years
