Toronto looks like a busy place. Good captures. No 747’s at CYYZ ?

    Regards

    Jamie M

    Hi Jamie ,
    Whilst my time at YYZ was limited , i only saw 1 747 and that was the BA flight , plenty of regional jets, emb 145,135 ,175,CRJ,s DHC8 ,Airbus 310 319,320,321,330, 340, , DC 8 UPS, MD11 , Boeing 727 , 767 , 737 and 777
Of note were Jamaican 321, UPS DC 8 2 off them , FedEx 727 2 of them as well
A great selection , but not so many vantage points for Photography , I was lucky, I had a friend that took me around in his car ( Many thanks Martin)

    Cheers Scot,
It was a shame that it was snowing when we left , the pictures from Saturday the 10th are looking brilliant, no snow but freezing -13 wind chill -23, will post them later

The tour, is not to be missed,
In 2003 they ran the tours on a Wednesday, Saturday and a Sunday we managed to get a private tour on the Thursday( along with 15 school children) after talking nicely to the tour Guide , Half way through they take you to the intersection and you are allowed of the bus (Possibly the best viewing area in the world)for about 30mins , I’m not saying it’s close to the runway but a Swiss MD11 took off for Mexico and the wing tip went over us and yes it was airborne what a sight 😮 😮 😮

    Hi Paul
Did you manage to get up on the new terminal viewing platform,
They had just completed it when I was in 2003

great selection of aircraft, and stunning shots, Like the Kuwaiti 747 , cant say that i have ever seen that at the row , either been the T7 or the A340 they send in when I’ve been there, and the Gulf Air 330 and the Malaysian 747 are stunning

Kevin, the AVP will move at some point but it could be from 5 years to 10 years no one will commit to a timescale.

A good, give her some time to settle in , are there any plans to open her up for a look in side,,
