Hi Tartan
How many Budgies are stored there? from memory they should have about 20 of them, plus 2 short 360 and 6 ATP, If I’m right I counted about 12 budgies 1atp and 1 s360 in you’re pictures

Hi Ian,
Really like the Fokker 50 , a unusual visitor to Glasgow and not often you see 2 FedEx painted atrs on the cargo ramps as well , shame that they only belong to Air Contractors
Nice capture there a very rare bird, it apparently passed over Glasgow on her way down
Good to see the old bird being rebuilt, I take it the rumor that the viewiing area was to be closed and moved , is untrue , or are these plans on hold ,
Kevin
Manchester and Sun, Thought those two words were not allowed together:p
Closeup are great, I take it the Malaysian is still subbing for PIA, looks a lot better in the sun, When i saw in December it look a Bit grotty but that could be down to the weather at the time (RAIN)
Good to see that CSA still have the 737 in the Brandenburg colour scheme , looks really smart, nice capture 🙂
Cheers Grey,
The more I look at the originals , the more i think you may be right , just the right amount of snow it just seems to frame them nicely, I’m hoping for some more snowfall , so that i can compare them ( not often i cross my fingers for snow:eek: 😮 )
Kevin
Yes the self same management who, grab all the bonuses , while cutting the front line staff, to pay for their bonuses, the self same management who paid off a layer of mangers because the company was to top heavy with managers , then reemployed them The self same managers who have sewn BA into contracts That BA cant get out off (Gate Gourmet)The same self managers who have implemented a policy that forces Ill cabin crew to turn up for work, because they are frighted in case the get the sack ( even when their own company policy tells them not to turn up).
The same self managers who set their own Targets , then reset them when they know they wont reach that target, so that they get their bonus, but the staff dont
Now dose that sound like good management and praise for the front line staff
One left ,
Exactly what you said is what I have heard from a BA employe , they are fed up not being listen to by the managment,
The same Managment implament Ideas, that cost large sums of money for little if any good returns, which BA can ill aford to Lose, these same mangers get their large bonuses at the expense of the the front line crews
They Do Not want to Strike , BUT its the only option they have to get the managers to listen ,
As The unions are having talks Tuesday 16-01-07,I believe that this is a shot across the bows Of WW, to let him know exactly the how the workforce ( including engineering, ground , and pilots ) feel
The Staff have endured a lot in the past few years , to bring BA back into Profit, but have see little in the way of gratitude from the Management, and the latest round of ideas from management have been the straw that might have broken the camels back
The staff know that a strike will end BA, but they are fed up with WW and his predecessors who have not listen to the staff at the front end.
The white Saab’s were supposed to be painted last year, but they never got around to doing so and may never get to as they maybe looking to replace some of the Saab’s with other turboprops ( likely DHC8)
The BA franchise , there was a rumor that they might be giving that up , but again that is still to be decided,
Thanks to all for you’re comments
Im still workng my way throught the overflights (over 300 images taken 5GBs worth)so I mght post them later on in the week
Kevin
Damn!! Kevin..awesome shots, best i’ve seen from you yet, sir!! 😮 really good crisp stuff…. I can even (just) see my van sitting outside my house on the first BA 757 shot!!!
Cheers Scot,
hope weren’t picking you’re nose whilst in the van , I will be checking the pictures:eek: 😮
The so called Greens, along with the brainless MPs that we have at the moment are hell bent in turning the clock back and send this country back into the middle ages , were the only form of transport was horse and carts., (all the Donkeys are in parliament)
They seem to fail to realize that if the transport sector of this country was to stop tomorrow , this country would be on it knees in a few days ( remember the fuel protest,)
The have tried to price the common folk of the road and that has not succeeded ,the are doing the same with trains and now their they are going to try it with air travel, so that only the richest will have it available to them and Government ministers
At the moment, were do the loony greens want to stop, do we slaughter all the animals , because they give off to much methane, concrete over all grass and woodlands because of the Co2 emissions ( that solves the problem of airport congestion, world biggest Runway)
Great shots!
On the close up one. The guy sat above the ‘W’ seems to be laughing. People these days:D
I think this one would be good for a caption competition
So this means the future of the B747 is now in question as well,Strange that the FAA changes the rules just as Boeing starts to assemble it B787 Dream liner prototype
Coincendance,or am I Just being cyincal
