I think it’s always been the case, just not enough people know or can be bothered to push for compensation.
The BA site has one of the better EU Air Passenger Rights downloads at http://www.britishairways.com/travel/euclaimnor/public/en_gb.
applies to all EU carriers or flights originating in the EU. 😉
I was lead to belive that before hand ,only the major Carriers offered any compensation, and it was abit of a sore point with them , because the lowcost didnt have to offer any, and I remember when the EU announced that the lowcost would also have to provide compensation there was an out cry from both RYR and Easy ,saying it was unfare,
At least that sets them above FR 😉
With FR, if your flight is cancelled, you might as well leave the airport as you’ve next to no chance of any kind of compensation or booking on another airline.
Heard that the EU is going to inforce the compensation rulling on RYR and All locost , dosent matter how little you pay for a Ticket
Seen both Parked at Coventry, just before Christmas , looks like they are awaiting the same fate as the convair 🙁
NO
The COA has been removed and the engines have been decertified, no one has the money or the engineers to restore ,or maintain even one of them
All spare parts have been sold and Airbus no longer produce spares
When will people realise she will never fly again
In a locker labeled CREW ONLY perhaps?
Nah that’d be to easy. My bet is the lifejackets are in a position that smack ya in the face, like the “safety Card” stuck to the back of the seat in front.
Knowing RYR , you will have to Buy one
At the end of the day it’s theft ,and the law requires that life jackets are available, and if they are not there then an aircraft can’t fly
The likely hood of an aircraft ditching into the sea and passengers actually getting out is not that high,if memory serves me right the Ethiopian 767 that ditched there were very few ,if any got out a live
Kevin
Maybe he could catch a private jet to Prestwick Kevin ??? 😀 😀 😉
Overalls to suite 🙂 😉
OK, then what after he has served his term and the time comes to release him? Does he stay in US for the rest of his life because no one wants to fly him out?
I said He will find it very hard to get a flight home, some airline might accept him ,but the conditions that may be forced on the guy might be extreme, ie Several thousand Pound Bond, Handcuffed to a Police officer , things like that ,
I dont know what Powers the US Imigration office has in ordeing a Airline to carry a deportie home
Im lead to Believe that the airline companies pass the details of banned Individuals to each other,I think this guy will find it very difficult to get a flight home , good chance that he will be charged and prosecuted in the States and might serve a jail sentence there,
GULP,GULP
Boeings new Fighter, disguised as commercial passenger aircraft
Sneaky
what a waste of time and money,
what a waste of time and money,
Well they have done it at last ,Ive flown With BACX on more than one occasion and can not fault them, The EMB 145 were comfortable(leather seats good leg room) and the crew wonderful (MAN-FRA,FRA-MAN)
Same with the DHC8 very roomy ,but no leather seats 🙁 (GLA-MAN,MAN-GLA)
Look foward to fly with them again
Kevin
The only thing these type of programmes archive is to scare the Be Jesus out of the people who know nothing about air travel, the facts are usually dodgy at the best , and all based on IF
I believe in facts ,not IFs
I got to admit I never saw the hole of the programme, but what i did see made me think of the other one about the mid air collision over Heathrow, again the authorities never got to preview it and the scenario was base on the type of ATC used In Europe ,not Heathrow
The Last I had heard both CSA,BA, and NATS Legal team where going to speak to the producers
You would think these idiots would learn a lesson
