How can anyone compare BA and Low Cost Airline’s they are two different setups
When will the narrow sighted see this ,BA setup Go airlines and it was a success, but BA decided that it did not fit in with the company ,so sold it .now if BA had kept Go I think a lot of the other LCC would be either gone, or struggling Especially Ryanair, becasue at the end of it, Go would have had the backing of Britian’s Biggest Airline

Due into Glasgow on the 11th it expected to be there for the arrival of the scheduled Icelandair 757, for a photo call, if possible atc will try and get the aircraft to taxi past the mound (past the Logan air Hanagar) this depends on the runway in use and the amount of traffic
Unfortunatley Im working (sod law)

RIP prbably is thinking about the metal super cooling and then weakening. Not trying to criticise but i think boeing factored in water from spray on land or whatever.
THere is the possibility of cracking the brake disk,
As a LGV driver I’ve had the problem over overheated brakes on more than one occassion and unless the brakes or hubs are on fire ,we would never pour water on them as the disk could warp or crack , I have seen it happen

Excellent pics!
They normally make an appearance at East Fortune, but obviously not this year. 🙁
Saw the Scotairways At East Fortune last Year, and the pilots had a grate time playing about with the Dornier 😀
I heard on my scanner on Friday the callsign “DeHavilland 20” can anyone tell me if this was a corporate aircraft and who owns it also where it might have been going?
Thanks
It was a Dash 8 ,belonging to Fly Be on return to Canada, about 3 weeks ago one of BA Dash 8 routed through Glasgow using the same callsign
Kevin
Many thanks to all,
Never did see these men in tights :diablo:
My Pal was saying that Pegaus were in talks about flying from RHD, so something to look forwrard to

The evidence i have of a rolling Concorde was in an interview on a mid eighties programe Reaching for the Skies ,when ex cheif piolt Concorde fleet Captian Brian Walpole stated that Jean Franci (French Test Pilot ) rolled the aircraft one way and then told Brian to unwind it,he says it was a 1G posite roll.I still have the VHS ,so in my mind i believe it although there is no photographic evidence.
Infromation I recieved was from a BA concorde Engineer
kevin
Believe it or not ,but a Concorde was barrel rolled .
I was told the same by a BA engineer, that as part of her gaining her C/A she was barrel rolled, was expecting one of the BA pilots to do this on the last flight 😎 😎
Kevin.
Many thanks to all,
It was a bamy 17C , in fact the last few days in Aberdeen have been extreamly warm ( who needs the French Rivera) 🙂 🙂
Kevin
