    If his flight deck is “stormed by a hijacker” he won’t have the time or the space to turn around in his seat, identify the intruder as a hijacker, draw, clear the safety catch, aim and shoot.

    That sort of thing only happens in the movies. Real-life is much messier.

    If The HiJacker gets that Far ,Terrorist now know that every single person on board that a/c will have go no matter what

    Was it you standing on the mound at ~13:30? I thought it was Allen…

    NO I had left about Midday just after OK-TVR had departed And I know it left a bit late ( departure time was for 11:55 ) will have to check the times on the pictures

    Did you ever take any photo’s and if so could you post them here, I would love to see them ?

    Aside from the Comet at Brunty are there anymore left that could be made airworthy again ?

    The raf have The nimrod ,which is based on the Comet and they are still flying, noisy so and so’s always wake me up when the do a low go around at Aberdeen 🙂

    Uploaded some more , The emirates turned out not to bad,as looking on the Cameras lcd they looked overexposed 🙂

    Yes Allen looking forward to see 2 AN124 on the deck at PIK hoping that I will get both of them at the same time ,as one is due out AM Sunday ,are you working ?

    My first attempt with my new camera.

    1000′ above, taken using 6x optical zoom. This was taken on Friday, about halfway across the Atlantic. We were bound for Miami, don’t know where they were going.

    had a quick search throught acars post and found the following

    N39365 (B767 AAL) AA0045 (Paris/CDG-New York/JFK)

    some really neat pics there
