Yes, these were ex Belgian AF and were flown into Prestwick originally

The news reports over the last few days have gone on about the wreck being found in a different direction to that which he was supposed to have flown. But his last words were supposedly that he was flying south and the wreck site is due south of the take off point.
All very sad.

I’d be interested to know more about your nightly replenishment flights to Port Stanley, I believe F-28s were used as well as C-130s.
