Sorry about that mate. Won’t do that again. But just like Pakistani are advertising about Gripen, F16 and AWACS the Indians have probably even longer list. Making the Gripen naval is a task that is not far from developing a total new plane. I surely like the plane but do not see the option for India in turning it into their newest naval plane. The Gorshkov deal was there if the Indians would buy the migs… And the retrofit of the carrier.

anyway, we get so many speculation about Indian or Pakistani deals that we can start to talk about every weapon in connection with these two countries. But Gripen as carrier fighter? No wonder Janes speculates more and more. It was more reliable in the past.:D

Making an Air defence fighter as a deck fighter? Are you sure or just for fun acig member SOC? Hard deck landing is just one thing a deck fighter must do. There are many other factors. And together it makes them expensiver then normal versions. Normallly a deckfighter becomes a normal plane but the other way around? Can you give me an example or are you just sugering India…?

About SD10 and this… It has to do with not putting all your eggs in one missile… So R-darter and SD10. One produced in PAkistan and one bought from China. Do remember that both missiles are not the same class.

Yep it is a nice picture. But I don’t think it will become reality cause those PAF F16’s are antique by the time the MKI flies over Pakistan:D

Both nations have reached medium quality production and will enter the higher end products in next decade or so. Is it a disgrace to buy parts and try to make own prototype? I don’t think so. It is something these nations should compare with many western nations where self production is gone… Even with low cash they have done some major steps. With or without help. How many nations have assembled aircraft? Not much. But do not forget that the ordinary Pakistani and Indians have to pay for that. Less money for them cause these things cost awful lot of money. To bad some here only can use that for throwing dirty things to eachother. What a shame. Not even the guts to talk about aviation as a intresting topic. What have you learn from others? I don’t go for copying bad stories from questionable leading newspapers on both sides. But is is strange to see so much free press in a country you call dictatorship. Just open you eyes and live beyond propaganda.
