During wartime even UN conventions are not important. And somehow it is allways the bigger and superior party that is passing them. Sofar China has been less imperialistic and I do believe that they are superior enough to counter. China is not Irac. Maybe I agree that you can attack their sats but you think they will wait and let everything go on? It is not the attack on Iraci nuclear factory. The US knows that they are running out of time… China is growing rapidly. It is not only economic power but a military power within a few years…
Try to get this article… You will raise your eyebrows.
CHINA’S CRUISE MISSILE PROGRAM
Colonel Geoffrey T. Lum, U.S. Air Force
Chief, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems Division
I think ditching fueltanks to enter very agile and dangerous WVR arena is something a non stealth and non TRC and non HMS and non extremely agile plane will avoid. I think the Firing BVR (SD10) is the first priority. If it can carry 4 (and not 2) then that is a win. Then that J10 radar and avionics processing of 4 simultaneous engagements makes sence. And the first 50 Jf17 will be using a downgraded J10 radar and avionics so… I don’t think that with a lot of BVR capable opponents and highly agile missiles the Jf17 will have headache if CFT are non removable during fight… Somehow the pace for conformals is huge… If they use that for longer flight time… Why not.
I just read a very intresting report about how China developed Cruise missiles and what the implications are for the US. Now I understand the destructions of certain GPS sats above Taiwan. For those that are intrested… I can post later.
Well I would have posted only:
Both air forces found the exercise to be of great professional value.
But I like to see others the whole article 😉
compare…

MINDEF STATEMENT ON ONGOING EXERCISE SINDEX
In response to a media query on an Indian newspaper report that Indian Air Force fighters had proved more than a match for the RSAF’s F-16s in Exercise SINDEX, the MINDEF Spokesman said:
“We can understand why the Indian media would come out with a sensational story like this.
We are very pleased with the exercise and the performance of the RSAF’s pilots and aircraft. The Indian Air Force has been an excellent host, and as their guest, it would not be courteous for us to comment on the specific outcomes of the exercise.”
Both air forces found the exercise to be of great professional value. The RSAF certainly looks forward to future such exercises with the Indian Air Force.
Not sure if this one is new…
OK guys… The pics will be replaced with the originals. Anyway here for Erez… The spine… Just a PS…
This way the chance of another GPS system (chinese and/or Indian) becomes more reality but let us focus on the broader picture. China and India are both capable to damage their opponents. So attacking their assets will certainly lead re-action. I do agree that US is superior. But superiority in a small unsupported and weak nation is something else if compared to 1 billion population. I doubt the US defence budget or army seize will be able to handle that. I doubt there will be international support for actions against India or China.
Distiller I disagree with your remarks towards India. The difference is that India is world largest democracy and so it has less speed compared with capitalism based in cummuninstic country. Sofar only parts of Indian society is put at work. Gradually this will increase and with 1 billion it has enough force or momentum to boom. China will be the biggest (Asian) Tiger so we do not need to show growth figures. If we look at economy. Do see that both India and China are much better developing then any other nation.
pretty tough landing gear…
Imperialism in disguise? I think China (and India) are worldpowers just like US. They have then exactly the same rights. But I do wonder what happens if US terrorists (hypothetical) are kidnapped and put in unkown prisons outiside US without human rights. I think we are getting of topic but it clearly shows that one superior party is not keeping the UN or orher treaties on top. I hope both China and India will soon be able to take part in the big game. Honestly. If US shoots down European sats to stop China then I think we can start talking about US being attacked with such force that total destruction of earth is an option. Or are we dreaming about Mc Arthurs plan to nuke every Chinese city? This time they will strike back.
So it is a big and correct question how UAE got these (not democracy or good behaviour) and what they will do to fly them (no internal good enough pilots).
But the strange part is that they still sell the high tech to this nation. That the combination of not good pilots, not real democracy, able to pay a lot is good enough, able to use against Iranian developments is making this a good sell while at the same time selling outdated F16’s for Pakistani airforce needs to go through millions of checks. I doubt they Pakistani can get dangerous for Israel. I doubt they can get more dangerous to India. I doubt they will fall in hands of terrorists. It is probably to stop tech flowing into China. Just like the fact that India is more supported to counter China. So UAE case is against Iran and Pak case is against China. Anyway feel free to give another perspective.
Srbin,
It reminds me of the internal bay of A4 Fantan… At the end it was just a bigger fuel bay… Looking at the fact that most planes at the moment are tested for Conformals so it might me a an option. After all… Why not two more BVR and less drag?
Well. I took liberty of showing them very fast but I have to respect the guy that made the pics. So I had to add this. They probably will be posted some day without that text but I have to ask him that. Somehow I appreciate the fact that pictures from Pakistan and Indian planes are getting better and better. Good development. Love them both.
About that pic with smoke. I agree you remarks. But it is the first Rd33 version (01) that needed change. The second version (03) is improved (less smokey).
Thanks. I got these pics from Pakistanidefenceforum. Unknown source.
