The production facility was established with Chinese collaboration and is capable of complete assembling ,testing and depot level repair of RWR equipment. This facility consists of an electrical assembly line for fabrication , stuffing , soldering , wiring and looms / harness fabrication.
sorry double post. Anyway… Let me show some pics.
rwr = radar warning receiver
IFF = identification friend or foe
I did not find anything logical in your statement or link.
here the rwr… And where is the link with China?
looks like Piranha 1/5 flying model.
I read somewhere that JF17-B would have more raised and one piece canopy. Not sure but here my personal PS…
According to the IDEAS2004 article in latest AFM, the ACM of Pakistan says that J10 is the best sofar China has produced and it is going to be the backbone of PLAAF. I don’t think they cannot produce high tech jets. They have tweaked the J11. They are busy with many other projects… I think we should not fall for the same ideology as during cold war when all western people thought that Russian planes were inferior.
Looking at the whole picture the Indian Navy is superior. Without any doubt. Looking at the Mirage against Harrier… I think the offensive party has adventages. But looking at reality. India will not risk an aircraftcarrier. They will block maybe sea routes. But Pakistan is trying to get that fixed with Chinese ships in Gwadar and optimizing navy. Hope is that none of these accidents will happen. Both are well equipped and nuclear so it might be MAD ending.
I think it is about Mirages attacking aircraftcarrier with harriers. Why adding som many extra’s that no-one can make a conclusion? If the carrier gets near the Pak shore then it has less chance to stay above sea. MKI is based not in the neighbourghood and will not protect it. With mirages coming in fast and probably some subs in the neighbout t finish the job I think the carrier could at best stay on the other side of India. Which it did last time…
According AFM they are still talking. Pak getting J10 i smuch more sure then Pak getting Gripen or F16c/d… So embrace yourself… 😉 And to make it even more scary for you… They will get two medium tech platforms…
Anyway… These IFF are Pakistani and will be (pretty sure) used in Fc1.
some more…
J10 will have radar that will be able to guide simultaneously four SD10 to four different targets. The same radar will be fitted on Fc1 (and do JF17’s) but will have smaller size dish. Is it possible that JF17 will have four BVR missiles? Or will the system be degraded to 2 missiles simultaneously?
Indonesian Air force?
The best solution would be english countryname and AF. For India it would be Indian AF. And for those written above… Italian AF and Israeli AF. Simple. (Netherlands AF, UK Airforce, US AF etc)
Even with a few exocets and very few unescorted attackers they did very well. But I think the Indian navy would not sail around in the neighbour of Pakistan and surely not pretty well escorted. On the other hand there is a sub launched exocet and the PAF is not attacking with just three planes and few exocets. The mirages against harrier is something more intresting. The Harrier is not upgraded (?) with BVR so it is not going to be outstanding defence. But in close combat it would do very well. I read some reports about harriers and Mirages doing WVR around the Malvidas. Anyway… The Mirages would come in very hard and launch the exocet at optimum moment and continue high speed leaving the arena. I doubt they will get the stupid idea to get close…
About the L-15. Latest AFM tells that PAF will not buy the plane. They will probably get more K8’s and inhouse production will raise. I don’t see any other export for the L-15. There is an advanced version of the K8 in the make so frankly I see no logic in this adventure. About Fantan. They had export models with Italian avionics. No success. Now a 2 seat version with not extremely high tech weaponry? In PAF service the Fantan is not popular cause it is not a friendly aircraft to handle. I rather would opt for J10 or Fc1.
