a promise is a promise…

Mods. I wonder why Indians here are allowed to posting non topic related items. Either it starts with a reporter of Janes that has no idea what he talks about or it is about Pakistan that should reduce poverty. The topic is about IDEAS. We do not start talking about poverty and hondu rituals in IAF topics. Let us erase those non related topics here. Thanks.
It was a positive remark from me towards LCA. Ok. We both understand.
I agree with the jaguar. Missed that one. But do add that nothing happened with LCA. That plane is internal. On the other hand. Using them very often. Getting aged. Some problems happen.
Here is his last posting on his site:
know I said I would stop posting to the blog, but I want one last word. Somehow to my more recent visitors I have become a symbol of the independent voice being stamped out by the corporate media. Ironically, I get many more visitors now that I’m shut down because of references all over the net to my “silencing.” A journalist never likes to become the story himself, and I feel that I’m being used against my will as an example of the nasty American media monolith. I’m happy to be an American and I’m happy to work for the mass media. And I was happy to have this blog, and I would be happy if a lot of people read it and enjoyed it for what it is rather than as a symbol of something bad. Thanks. Peace.

Go read some topics and replies… The guy isn’t a real journalist… Sorry. I am not impressed by the quality.
For the rest… It is not the topic…
With maybe 125 new mirages in mind the latest crashes will be troughly checked. I have no doubt in that. But it not the best after seing many migs doing the same. That time it was blamed on bad spare parts. One cannot say the same of the Dassualt parts. Damn expensive but good. It has to be something with maintenance.

It is the same person. Believe me. But can we back to Ideas 2004? That is the original topic. If you do not want that then open a new topic. We have alll bene warned not to ruin topics. Let us avoid more troubles.
The Dutch “forced” the BA aircraft to land in Schiphol. Talking about high density population and logistic network. They could have forced it back to England… Just 5 minutes further…
Then it might look good on F16’s. If the LCA is going to have BVR. If the Mig21 Bison has BVR then why so much posting when it comes to PAF. Anyway. Indians should leave it resting. It aint important.
About BVR. Those 6 PAF falcons are going to train with all with BVR planes. And NATO… So that might gove a lot of inside.
After this info from the other side I have to agree more with Arthur. It looks like trigger happy action but without the shooting. They could handle it neater. It sounds that Israel seem to have own rules. We remember that 747 crash in Amsterdam. It took ages to get more info what was in the cargo.. And we still do not know what… And here… They just scramble and push it far away. A bit over reaction.
Why does the US need a lot of AMRAAMS when they fly above Afghanistan? You do not buy a plane and leave the most important part out. Pakistan with amraams would not make the ballance with India tilting… Why so much tlaking about a few amraams which are only in the mind of a Janes reporter so important. Is it making India less? I don’t think so. Maybe we can turn it around. Why does India need so many weapons. Or maybe does Pakistan need to make a buffer against Iran. Who knows. Anyway. BVR are like cookies these days. If they are busy with J7 with BVR then why not put BVR on those F16A’s? Tell me how may F16’s are still in active service and without BVR? Yep… I rest my case.
Hmm …. I’m not sure if this is not a PS ! … esp. the small intake-pylons are looking strange !
Deino 🙂
I think I have to agree… The light is brighter on the right side. Yet the pylons of the wing fueltanks show light from above. The pylon with the bomb has no light… The area by the cockpit is PS…
India is a superpower. It has more and newer planes. It has MKI… It has mirage 2000 (which are better equipped then those paf F16’s)… It has Mig29 with BVR… It has even Mig21 with BVR… Do you actually think that PAF will think about attacking India? It is clear that PAF is just re-acting to India’s imports. We have to wait for another tender for 125 aircrafts. Then there is surely the LCA which is pretty modern. So. No need to worry.
And whether PAF needs high tech or not. Why is the US using high tech. I think with high tech the anti terrorism is much easier. AMRAAM is just an extra. No to fly right into India and become victorious. It will be used to defend against numerous Indian BVR options.
Anyway. Let us move beyond that.
