J8 with covers? The engines are retouched… J10 does not have tail wings… I am missing the vertical downwards pointing wings…

here j8… The engine end seems to be PS…

They had falcon up… A structural upgrade. And indeed an engine upgrade. For the rest I don’t think they will take the atlis laser designater to Turkey…

I think they made Fc1 more easy for that. They have a lot of room between the tailwings. But still… Changing the F16 engine was not only seen by changed longer exhaust but a changed intake…

It is a worldpower when it comes to labourmarket. Getting military worldpower is a bit far yet. But atleast it has less opponents compared with China.

About impossible to produce a plane in one nation. Well. Isn’t that the end of options? Engine is definately a hell… Here there are many parts that are being imported or co-produced. Not to bring it in negative news but LCA is difficult to handle cause of many foreign ideas/parts. India did a smart move to put more effort in Indian parts but as others said… One has to learn the lessons.

Looking at the success… India is starting many other projects now. I think it i sunfortunate they opt for Hawk cause they should be able to produce a Hawk right now. If China and Pakistan can produce K8 then India isn’t that far from the same target. With less restrictions from other nations it can learn and produce a decent trainer faster then the LCA…

With fingers at PAK-FA… Co-operation on MKI… But it needed more luck on the LCA… Long project… Lots of cash…

Ok. Understandable. But what are the effects for MCA cause India is involved in PAG-FA at the same time.

    Paf Fan,
Yep. Not even info from inside sources. And even on the planning there was no Pakistan. Anyway. Looking forward to see pics and results. There will be F16A (PAF), F16 MLU (Holland) and F16C’s…
    Cheers.
