They will need a lot of planes to bring those boms to various targets. Let us even forget about nuclear contamination. Israel is just upgrading and increasing capabilities. I don’t think it has directly a relationship with Iran.

How many Mirage2000 and F16 are flying around? That would explain some… Anyway there was e greek Mirage 2000 accident not long ago.

I searched on the net for belly landings with mirage and couldn’t find one.

There is a rumour Maroc will buy 20-40 K8. Build in Egypt.

Of IRIAF will buy in 2008 then they need more assembly lines… I don’t think one in pakistan and one in China are going to be enough. (150-150-40-…) all from 2008…

griffin_pak, it was the 88.
Mpacha, the exercise and airshow display should not be affected.
PLA, what route ? it was kept flying for 2 hrs to burn all fuel
and directed to crash near a village 140km from Gwalior.

Thanks. Anyway. I was thinking how it would feel to belly land a miraeg 2000. If it has no fueltanks then there is a lot of wing scrapnig over the runway. The plane will be ruined anyway. The pilot maybe killed and the runway need repairements. I think they did it correct.

I’m seeing this thread a bit too late so of course I can’t reply to all of you together, but to those who say that “if Israel has nukes, why shouldn’t Iran have”, or that “Iran has a peaceful record”, all I got to say is this:
When the Iranian army displays on TV a Shihab missile with a sign on it saying “Israel should be wiped off the map”, excuse me for not feeling too comfortable or peaceful.

Well. After seing how Palestinians are treated I think we should watch some WW2 movies about Nazi ideas. Israel isn’t exactly the paradise with fundamentalist on the government. If USA pulls the plug it would end in a few days. Excuse me for telling the truth.

Does the Mirage2000h has a fuel release option? Indeed a bit harsh action when only a wheel went down. But maybe there was more. Belly landing with mirage? Haven’t seen any before. High landing speed? Fueltanks?

Pilot ok. No casualties. Good. If something crashes then let it be this way. As said… Mirage 2000 isn’t a bad plane but probably Murphy’s law had to happen. I had once seen a accident like this almost in forn of my eyes. A F16B from Twente Netherlands was almost in the air… Then the front wheel burst. Wasn’t a nice thing but nothing happened. There was a lot of smoke…

I hope UN can work these things out. US presidents should improve US (and World) economy. Not play with dangerous toys. I hope we can move to a less hostile attitude. Otherwise we will have to fight so called Al Qaida in every backyard.

Well… Let us look at the past…

They promised to build Afghanistan… Now the so called terrorist Taleban is getting back. They created more enemies then friends. I think that helping one side (northern alliance) murdering the other is not the way to introduce democracy, whatever that may be in reality…

They promised Iraci people rebuilding. Well. We are looking at people with knives. Killing of more then thousand young US military. And huge expense… They created not only more so called terrorist in the Sunni triangle but the Shia part is much more famous these days.

Now… Let us attack Iran. I don’t think that will make muslims all over the world think positive about the western mentallity. Which is childish looking at the fact that UN is abused and even Cat Stevens is seen as terrorist. I think the reality will be that a lot more people would try to explode a dirty bomb in the middle of the western area. Why are these people so much talking about Iran? Why not talking about Israeli nuclear and bio chemical adventures… No…. That is not allowed. Sure.
