I agree with that. But latest AFM was also about getting the A4 back into IDEAF. Does sound strange if we knew what is parked at AMARC.

The latest AFM says that Israel bought a Druv just to compensate the huge Indian order. Not particular other reason. Let us hope for a bigger ticket to Latin arena.

Just read latest AFM paf article. Very intresting pics. So the final upgrade is a full digital cockpit for the mirage 3? And did anyone notice those Pakistani RWR on the tails? These things seem to move from the windhsield to back to rudder… Probably the same as on F7’s.

The attacking plane has to lock and launch. So it isn’t exactly a shock to the vessel. Besides that the speed of Brahmos is extremely high. The higher the speed the less time you have to guide or change heading… About the shape. Superb. But I was thinking about if the plane is carrying these missiles… What impact does it have on drag?

So India is moving beyond China? Anyway, with India being able to produce and launch sats it won’t take long to move towards next level.

Lovely sight. I did compare it with Draken but it doens’t look the same to me. Read somewhere that these two planes have super wings.

Government receives delivery of 24 Bell Helicopters: WASHINGTON, Feb 16: Government has received delivery of 24 two-engine Bell Helicopters in support of war on terrorism, Ambassador Jehangir Karamat said. Pakistan would get 8 P-3C Orion aircraft and TOW missiles, he said in response to a question at a periodic meeting with Pakistani journalists at the Pakistan Embassy. About Pakistan-U.S. Defense Consultative Group (DCG) meetings, he said the DCG met in Islamabad recently, taking stock of the bilateral defence relations. It also reviewed the international military education and training requirements, in keeping with our needs. (APP) (Posted @ 10:50 PST)

The mig19 was more of a dogfighter. PAF still loved it cause it could do pretty well in dogfights. Dogfights aren’t exactly above mach 0.8. The Mig21 was more of a interceptor with infrared. We know how reliable those missiles were. I have seen articles that a mig21 was shot into pieces by sabre… Guns…

Chavez and US are not exactly friends. That is the reason that some hate the guy. We cannot judge him without understanding it all. Unfortunately some copy other peoples opinion. What is strange is the fact that Chavez is still operating F16’s. No boycot?

The strange part that Lockheed will close lines. Does it men PAK will get new build planes? I thought it was a stop gap plane. And how on earth will it be armed with BVR? Will US deliver amraam? Or source codes? Highly doubt the value of that part. If PAK gets it then they will shop AMARC. Or maybe they will get those build-paid-nondelivered planes…

Somehow I cannot find a better word sens… That plane should be replaced. PAF doesn’t like it. It has terrrible handling and what potential has a shortlegged double seated version? Trainer?

Funny how the rudder is lengthened for compensating higher canopy…

The F16 is seen as a bonus for stop gap. So I doubt they would build new planes in Dallas. Don’t understand that Lockheed uses that reason. And there is a big question about AMRAAM or newer blocks even if Pakistan is allowed to fly and maintain UAE block60 planes. I think there is more chance that PAF would get those planes that are ex-PAF planes now gradually returning to service in the US. The chance India might buy these items isn’t huge. They are using the LCA with US engine and I doubt they would increase the risk getting boycotted. So I am looking forward to hear how the next generation aircraft are doing.

Would be happy if you could decrease the size of the block… Love the pics but it the size is a bit huge.
