Personally i do not understand the steps. We are on a fight against terrorism. Europe has not enough to the a simple job like Bosnia. Now they are even worser. And besides that… I will miss those planes…
Why not making it better… They still have those wingfences… Both planes have fired close range IR on the right… Could be better. Tailroot looks a bit fat. But the planes looks goooooood….
We talked about the Tumansky engine in the old mig29… Well we even talked about Fc1 being as smokey as… Let me share a pic… 😀

And this pic is new here… 😀
As you read in AFM latest… PAF is very busy with missions with many aircraft at once… This is typical strike package with escort (ex aussies) and CAP (f7p point defence)… Strange is that some mirages have supersonic fueltanks some not. But the question is :”what is attached to the belly of these ex-australian mirages?”…
And I doubt that anyone has seen Mirage landing with this AOA…
here some f16 pics…
Will do. Those red things are about what those bulges are. I think they are just ordinary spaces for the main wheels of the main gear. If you see the gear lowered then you can see those bulges at the same place where the weel should be when raised.
PAF F16 just behind C130 Hercule…
The two Pakistani test pilots in Chengdu
Cannot find the old FC1 thread. Here a “new” pic. Full afterburn banking right…
I think the only question is the deck carrier. The planes are fine. The carrier has been retrofitted a lot and I am looking forward to see the result. About getting the Yak. They have experienced pilots cause they have harriers. But I think they have enough tough projects running and I can understand that they opt for a less risky Mig29 which they know and are satisfied with. About getting brittish “afdankertje”/”rust”… Why buy old rusty carrier and another plane while they can buy something that is more suited for their wishes? They have to accept the Brittish ships as they are. For that price…
Not to make it look strange or to flame but I allways was kind of shocked why only Indian Airforce opted for thrustvectoring. I do not want to overlook the F22 comparisation where stealth is an important part. It sneaks up and destroys anything. I can imagine that TVC is part of that cuase everything is in it.
The MKI is a very nice and potent aircraft but why the TVC? With highly agile WVR and BVR missiles and little stealth capacity it better stay out of the WVR arena. The Chinese and Russians have not opted for it. Neither are other planes active with it. I know there are plans or options (like Gripen or Ef2000) but sofar they seems to stay out of the reality. Anyone? Thanks.
Is it a plane? Nope so it should be posted in Missile section. Merci.
If we keep in mind that Pakistani acm was talking about getting a missile and alter the seeker to make it ARM… With some other BVR in “plannning” this one could be to get data to make something or to understand Indian capabilities…
