I know the Viggen and Gripen styles but I was curious how the Delta Fc1 would function. I just showed two different systems. The Gripen uses the whole canard. the Viggen just the flaps at the end of its canard.
If you look at the Yc1 model you will notice that the canrds have different angles. So the whole canard moves. There are also no flaps at the backside. But if it moves as a whole canard then the canard will touch the inlet. Or it can have only very small movements.
