Ik trek terug. Verdorie.
I have to say… damn. But there were flares and chaff manually used but maybe not connected to automatic systems like rwr. I will check that. About heavier ECM… I read in ACIG report that PAF ground control did had some troubles with that. Either they missed the planes or they saw blibs but no planes… In an area with mountains, mujahideen and donkeys I doubt that there was naturally interference,
I do agree with Arthur that Mujhasomething were not radar equipped but that simple infrared missiles neutralized a lot. Together with that crazy dying for God was enough trouble.
I doubt that the sovjet aircraft lacked that much. After Stinger being introduced you could see plenty of flares. I see a very subjective reaction here. Never saw mil flying low and releasing a lot of flares…? Same pics but then su25 are well known. And since chaff or rwr is for you a question… Why could thyey fly big aircraft with active jamming if they are not able to handle passive systems…? Man, some people tend to become unlogic.
Well..Israel… India… Pakistan…. Three รคll “illegal” atomic powers are openly discussed but still there is a lot of patritism involved. Lets talk normal. It doesn’t matter for all states what kind of nuke explodes. The results will be far overwhelming then the stupid al qaida attacks in Madrid or New York. So whether an Israeli , Indian or Pakistnai nuke explodes… We all can pray and say goodbye. No nuke is better then the other.
About distance Israel and Pakistan. I am still looking for evidence tht abm are good enough. Shooting down some old style missiels in ideal situation is something else then a few nukes with latest software and hardware. I don’t think that the defence is that good these days. Not Israel, not India and not for Pakistan.
About result or amount of direct hits… Well, same goes for the opposite force. How much will Israel need to react to the PAksitani side and be able to put it on a stamp (cause it is a small country)? And there is a reason why Pakistan is shortening the striking distance. KSA is much nearer. By the time Israel wakes up it will be gone before one button is pushed. And it is Israel that is fuming the arms race between India and Pakistan. Just look at the trades in the past and in the future. IT is strange that there are no restrictions to dangerous exports of Israel when it comes to India. On the other hand China or Pakistan are on the edge.
Intercontinental-Range Missiles
Whilst the status of the Surya ICBM programme is unclear, some reports suggest that it is now underway and will be based largely on India’s SLV programme. In 1993, India failed to acquire four cryogenic rocket engines (advanced long-range engines which use low-temperature fuels such as liquid hydrogen and methane) from Russia following intense pressure on Moscow from the US. But in 1994, the Indian government announced in 1994 that it had set aside 3.35 billion rupees ($108 million) to enable the Cryogenic Upper Stage Project to be tested by the end of 1998, and Indian scientists claim that colleagues working in Russia have already acquired drawings of the cryogenic engine.
Pakistan in the center (optical)
Left Iran and Afghanistan. To China and for te big part on the east the new ally India. Which it can not handle with guard down but also which it will not able to defeat. I hope that will ocver the question.
India is not putting its eggs in on ebasket and besides as a superpower it will icrease the ranges. Nothing unusual. Why is it callled the sun anyway?
Rhetorical?:D
Giving nukes? Like US gave NATO nukes to reply Warshaupact attack? Even then it sounds still not that dangerous but I dount it has some nukes… That would be very uncomfortable politicaly…
I doubt that India survives any Chinese attack… So arming with these missiles is probably a gesture towards Pakistan. Political agenda’s are not that mch Chinese oriented as some posters sugest.
I remember those two guys very clear… ๐
How come Indians love to post these kind of topics? If India buys every defence equipment on earth then I see no reason for them to put so much attention on these matters. Accept when it comes to cricket.
KSA was defended for ages by Pakistani soldiers. Now things come dangerous and even if the co-operation is truth then there is a reason for it. Just like IAF loves everything for Chinese purposes… KSA loves everything for Israeli purposes.
Steve I am not against US or soldiers and these things happened probably everywhere but it is our duty to accept Geneva accords and finishing a wounded person even when he is moving away… I don’t see the human part…
And editing is not favournig the victims. We have seen how unhumane innocent arabic looking people were transported to Guantanomo… For what reason? It is cheap when it is islamic. And I thought western world was civilised.
There was an outstanding report about HARM and ALARM in AFM couple of years ago. Brittish version was better but US won the deal and forced the other out of the market… Same idea like Philips 2000 and VHS…
oeps
Mat… UK did go all the way to the Maldivas and defended some silly islands. Do look at the costs of EF2000 and other BA projects…
When it come s to last defence there are allways options. Like one of Pakistans elected premier…. When it comes to defence they would even eat grass… India would do the same.
And these missiles are painted not extremely nice… When will they hire belgian artists…?
