Please forgive me, this is a message for Geoff Brown and I can find no other means of trying to contact you than the threads in this forum…!

Geoff, if you should happen to read this, I am a private Lanc enthusiast based in London.  I’ve been collecting for years and having pretty much all the internal components for the Lanc pilot / nav / radio sections, I recently decided to display my collection in the best way possible…  by building a replica of the interior of the aircraft front section.   My wife, of course, is delighted…  !!

To cut to the chase, I have acquired a Lanc pilot seat in many pieces…  a totally-original floor-mount assembly, and a box of separate parts – some which look original and others which look exactly like the components (sprayed yellow) I have seen in a post you made on this forum about seat builds you were undertaking.  Net, I am pretty certain that I may have some parts from your workshop.  Not sure how this happened, but it seems that the bloke I bought the seat from had acquired it himself from someone at Spitfire Spares.  The good news is that, as far as I can tell, I have everything I need to proceed with a build.

The person I bought the seat components from had made a start in cutting the main aluminium panels – but in trying to dry-fit these, something is very un-right about them.  I am – really – hoping that I could speak to you about this, ideally obtaining measurements I need to fabricate these panels myself.

Once again, please forgive this rubbish and impersonal means of trying to get hold of you…  it was the only lead I could find!

    My best regards to you

    Paul
