    Big deal.

I have the same amount of sympathy for this character as his organisation showed for the victims of their beloved al Qaeda and IRA.

That’s not a “chav” it’s a “congenital der”. When you analyse the physical aspects of scum such as this, you see a pattern – mouths invariably hanging open, baseball caps or hooded fleeces, narrowed, disappearing eyes, a certain kind of gait which has a bounce-like quality to it – when you have lived in Scarborough as long as I have you get to recognise individuals which fit into this type of appearance as low life scum who should have been aborted, let alone drowned at birth.

Makes a change for a burglar to be sent down instead of a householder though.

    The Beatles with “Revolution Nine”

Number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine repeated again and again for almost 10 minutes.

If you can endure listening to the whole of that then you deserve a medal.

For a new national anthem we should have Land of Hope and Glory or Rule Britannia.

After all that messing around with camilla on his wedding night to diana & throughout their marriage; & you think he’s a “good bloke”?

    And Diana never messed around?

If Charles wants to marry Camilla, good luck to him. I am not pro or anti royal, but if someone wants to marry, then they should be allowed to, heir to the throne or not.

I knew there’d been a problem with images, but I thought that was why the forum went offline the other day, so that it could be fixed. I assumed the problem had been sorted once the forum came back on.

I’ve got a photobucket account so I’ll try again soon with the pics. Better to be able to get them on here though and save space in my photobucket account.

Great shots. I love the ANZ 767, I have a 747 with Lord of the Rings, it’s a MelJet one. I am looking for another 767 because my current one is a real *****.

Geforce I agree with your post entirely. There is too much crap on TV – gardening, house makeovers, things where people get voted off each week and house buying.

And I have been watching the Auschwitz series on BBC2. Shocking and disturbing stuff, and something which people must never forget or allow to happen again. You just cannot understand the mentality of those who operated places like that.

Can someone do the same about that ageist b*stard Blair and make him just a figment of someone’s nightmare?

Belgium’s employment laws may be “crap” but from what my Belgian friends tell me, you don’t get the same legalised, government-funded age discrimination like you get in England. Like job training schemes only being available to the under 25s (and please no one tell me that this doesn’t happen in England because I’ve been a victim of that attitude since I was 27 years old when the New Deal and Modern Apprenticeships were introduced and people over 25 had not a cat in hell’s chance of getting proper job training 😡 )

And you sometimes have to work months for an English firm before you are entitled to paid holidays.

And at least in many parts of Belgium you can go out for an evening walk without feeling unsafe like you get in the UK. You don’t see everything get smashed up and destroyed in Belgium like you do here. You can pass cemetries without all the graves being vandalised, unlike in the UK. The trains and buses run beyond 6pm and don’t stop on weekends like they do in the UK. I wish I had the chance to get out of this bloody dump and settle in Belgium because you wouldn’t see me for dust. Steve Young – you don’t know how bloody lucky you are my friend. Can I have your job please?

I know where I would rather live.

You are probably right Mexicanbob, but you must also remember that it was not only Americans involved in D-Day but many British, Candadians… Too many people these days think that America won the war single handed and it was just not the case.

I loved theatre work when I was at the vets. The science behind anaesthetics and surgery is the most interesting, and I was just fascinated by watching the oeprations and watching something being cured rather than just giving a drug and letting the drug do everything.
