Went about four years ago, only one day a year open and I went hoping to see the Trident – sadly the hanger was roped off as parts of the concrete were unsafe, hangar D4 IIRC, managed to see the Connie though 🙂
There was a motorcycle sprint meeting on the runway at the same weekend if that helps?

Wow, I vaguely recall watching this a young teenager, how wonderfully to see it again after all this time – thanks so much for this reminder, but I’m also a little saddened to see what successive governments have done to our armed forces 🙁
