Superb!! Fantastic pictures all round 😀 The Mig-29 camo looks great IMO.
yes my friend 😀

i believe good old Chris Lofting has the latest and greatest Su-22 and Su-25 pics from the Peruvian Air Force 🙂
c”mon Chris… we’d love them, share baby, SHARE 😀
hello samir
all Mig-29 “S” and “SE” in Peruvian inventory (9-13) are R-27 capable
only the 3 aircraft bought from Russia (SE) are “also” R-77 capable
Camaro.
so, basically, a good sub, with a good crew and a good sensor array at 200mts, can actually hunt and kill another one at 300mts, no matter how techno advance it is?
in resume…a matter crew, sensors and tactics?
man it sounds way cool to me 😎
thanks a million dear friends, i can see much clearer now.
Camaro.
here’s a link to a couple of videos, i hope you guys like them.
one is about FAP and the other is about Luftwaffe Fulcrums, these vids are just product of “having nothing to do at home” 😀
so please, they are ‘free for all’

Camaro.
ok, lets say in deep waters, sub Vs sub going at each other, you mean guys that its not that important?
lets say one at 200 meters and the other with capacity for 300, it does seem like a tactical advantage to me, but i’m no expert…now i’m confused 😮
Camaro.
Please, let me explain one important point abaut the Peruvians and Russians,
at the time there was an embargo on weapons sales, both for Peru and Ecuator, being the difference, that on the Ecuatorian side, their stocks were complete while in Peru, there was only 3 M2k’s to fight, with one sationed south because of the increased activity from the Chilean air force, make no mistake, i’m not saying that Fach had any intentions, but something had to stay south to keep an eye.
so with only 2 M2k’s to protect formations of up to 8 attakers, between Su-22 and A37B, as you can see, situation was desperate and the only people who didnt care about embargoes at the time…Ucraine and Belarus.
the second point, is that the deal with belarus included parts and support for 2 years and they DID actually delivered.
with the peace treaty signed up, the governments after Fujimori decided to cut the military budget way too much and started a campaing of missinformation destined to ruin whatever bought during the Fujimori years, ending up in what we all know now.
it is true that 3 new Migs SE were bought to deal directly from russia but the new government failed to pay for parts and these caused the russians to stop sending spares.
as you can see, it wasnt a matter of supplier reliability, it was a matter of “bad customer”, thats all.
back to FAB
congratulations Brasil for the M2k’s, hopefully they’ll meet with the Peruvian air force M2k’s and have some serious fun 😎
saludos fratelhos Brasileiros

i’m trying to find-out a price for the AWACS version of the R-99
gracias amigo 😉
Camaro.
yes my friends, some people just dont get it 😡
i would have pay’d to see those birds in the morning, only too bad it was because of the loss of a brave man (my condolences).
here i was part of something that ended up ugly for a pilot friend of mine,
i was asked to go on a L-1011-500 flight test for flaps/slats control problem that was fixed but we requested that, to be sure (i was the techie on board).
at the same time there was a little meeting on a little airfield nearby (Lachute-Quebec) our captain was in contact with the fellas over there (cell phone) and they asked us to just do something, hell, why not? we were all happy to do so
so we simulated 3 approaches with go-around high AOA full power (climbing like hell :diablo: , on that little airfield in the middle of nowhere, but crowded with “aircraft nuts” waiving and jumping happy, it felt good 😎 and at the same time confirmed that our flaps/slats system was A-OK.
but some “A-hole” on a nearby church (it was sunday) 😡 complained and our captain ended degraded to co-pilot and fined  😡
some people really are, frustrated SOB’s without lifes or sex, ungry at whatever they see…i hate them all.
they just dont get it.
Camaro.
thanks for the Pics Wolf.
where i come from, we call it…
LINDO FIERRO 😎
Camaro.
thanks jungle boy
just a little correction
1- FAP never had Su-20, it always was and in fact it still is Su-22 and Su-22M.
everything else on the first part is correct as far as i know.
2- the helo lost was a Mi-8 from the Peruvian Army, it seems that failure of the power train was the cause, but it has to be confirmed, so this is not conclusive but is just the most likely cause.
also between 2 and 4 people are dead.
people is not happy at all at president toledo who’s government is not capable of paying 7 million US dollars to the russians as downpayment to start work on the helos and transport aircraft of the armed forces, 2 years and too many people dead and still “maybe” the contract will be signed this week 😡
that contract should have been signed 2 years ago.
Camaro.
hello garymole
go here:
http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=43848
there you’ll find some very cool pics of Peruvian Air Force (FAP) Mig-29S and Mig-29SE, all of them 9-13, there you can start your ressearch. 😉
Camaro.
that is correct my friend 😉
no guided weapons for A2G on Peruvian Migs, their function remains the same as originally planned, pure A2A.
in fact after the upgrades coming down the road (nobody knows when  ), AFAIK, Peruvian Migs will remain as pure A2A, besides the add-ons that come with the new or upgraded radar.
Camaro.
Korabelniy… 😎
gracias muchanchos 😀
