    Hi Kenneth,

    That Fokker D7 is stolen from Holland by H. Goring in 1940. He visited Schiphol ( a Luftwaffe base since a few weeks then) and noticed the D7 (which was earmarked for a Dutch museum in 39 or so) in the Fokker Factory. He ordered it to bring it to Germany, and that is the story. I have a picture of it showing it the Dutch markings under the German ones. Unfortunatly, most governements are more interested in stolen paintings/art in WW2 than aircraft, but to say it simpley, the machine on show was stolen and it belongs in Holland. We still have the papers of ownership of the machine here, so if the Dutch governement wants it (but they don’t as it is not interested in aircraft) they can reclaim it. Don’t think there are many museums around in Germany that displays objects stolen by the Nazi’s today. BW Roger

    It won’t be there. Recent events have outdated the airforce notice and ruled this out. Volkel will be great, but if you go there just and alone for the Connie, don’t go. However, a lot of other Dutch historic machines will be on show, and photography is great at the base, both static (they know there what photographers want) and in the show, although you need some mm’s .     Fijne dag verder Jochen. Hierbij onze nieuwste aanwinst uit Argentinie.

    The machine belongs to the FIO in Madrid, and is awaiting its FF (paperwork is delaying it). When EC registrated, it will be repainted into 1936 German (Olympic) colours, with a swastika tail to the right, and a empirial flag on the left (or v.versa).

    Just booked a place in a Belgiun bus to go to La Ferte (couldn’t get a bus from Holland), are you going by car to La Ferte, or also by coach? BW Roger
