No, the spinning prop is “3W-S” . By the way, the tailwheel is still there but not in the shot because there was a red/white fence around it, and in shooting it this way from a small hill, I got rid of the fence (and the undercart). BW Roger

That is because the real anniversary was on August 14, 2001. 100 years after Gustav Weisskopf made a succesfull flight of 2700 mtrs with his design. BW Roger
The one with the yellow grip? that’s a Wehrmacht dagger. 100 P.St is a good price if it is in acceptable condition, 150 if it is realy good. It is one of the more common daggers. I think prices here in Holland are not that high as compared to the USA or Australia. German goods are still around in large quantities. I buy/exchanche most of my German stuff in Belgium or Germany. Allied things are a lot cheaper here. A WW2 English helmet goes for maybe 10 p. st. An American one for around 50.

Very often, German aircrew wore German helmets over their leather leather or fabric flight helmets. This one came from an HE111. Often they removed the innerliner and only used the steel shell. When you see the Ww2 movie of the Memphis bell, you can see that the pilot is wearing an American m1 pot over his flighthelmet. Later, Alied aircrews wore specially designed Flakhelmets. Might post a few if interested. Bought one last year, of Ww2 vintage that was used in Iraq by tankcrew, so I guess the Aericans sold their WW2 surplus to Iraq.
Another battle helmet, this one from the Berlin Don’t know if the original owner survived. Have an american one from Normandy also. was in the sea for 60 years. Horrible condition but historicly of great value (to me). Most here at home think I am collecting junk.
Why is the pic not showing off? Maybe this time.
Nobody else here has some helmets to show? Think I am going to post some English ones tomorrow. This one came from an aircraft wreck. And no, the crew survived. Helmets like this are maybe not so good looking, but they were used in the wars real battle. So in many ways they are telling a much more inportant story than the better looking ones.
A WW1 M16 helmet with a Stirnpanzer. This was a heavy piece of metal that could be installed on the helmet to give a better protection against frontal “fire”
I have only shown some german ones. Hope there is no interest in the Allied ones. Is there anybody who knows anyting on English Pots? Don’t know the difference between the WW1 markI (used in WW2) and the WW2 markII
A Ww1 M-18 helmet used by the SA
A double decal FJ helmet with in the back a lamp made out of a helmet.
Very weathered paratroopershelmet, had to replace one of the bolts
A Dutch NSB one, also very rare
