    On AIX there is a topic regarding scapampton and the possibility of the BBMF and the reds to move in together.

    Seeing as conningsby is full of typhoons and will be for some time it would make sense for the BBMF to go to a quiter location along with the reds

    Also TVOC are looking for a opperating base as brunti is not ideal to opperate her from and the runways heavily used for car testing and could be in a better state.

    So why not bring all 3 together at scampton?

    I still fail to see why need another, yes i would love to see it and see 2 lancs it would be amazing.

    But the BBMF are designed to honnor the few and they do that with britans only air worthy lanc if a civilan one flies this make it null and void.

    As said they only way you could do this would be fly the 2 at big airshows such as RIAT

    Sunday 20th July.
    BBMF in formation albeit slightly spread out, over South west Harlow at about 1600 heading towards Duxford. Mr Teichmans Spitfire spotted heading towards North Weald from Duxford direction a few minutes later, they must have waved to each other en route somewhere!
    Cant a chap have a quiet beer in his garden without all of this noise?;)

    i had to be north east 🙁

    Now if only something this good could happen for the C.1 at Lasham.

    If something good can happern to all of those beauties at lasham, i doubt they have long left

    Thought id tag this along here.

    But if anyone can give/lend/sell us any aircraft parts then pls pm me or post, we want things the cadets can look at and have lean and deismantle and restore.

    So anything for dials, wires, aircraft skin, heavy duty bits then please let me know.

    I really want to get this project going but have nothing what so ever to work with

    Im also looking for an aviation related painting to fill a hole in the wall so to speak.

    Id like to be british unlike the rest of this thread so a nice spitfire flying along or a lysander at its airstrip or a hunter formation anything like that

    The dates for Legends 2009 are 11 and 12 of July 2009.
    The RIAT this the following weekend 18 and 19 July 2009.

    oo thats alot better but not great, We want one one end of the year and the other the other end of the year. Gives me chance to save up for the next 🙂
