    As far as I figured out now is that VASO in Russia offers to upgrade the Il-76MD to the Il-76MD-90 standard, which is just a re-engine programme, no avionics/cóckpit or fuselage change.

    TAPO in Uzbekistan on the otherhand offers the Il-76MF both in upgrade and newly build airframe. This is a bit more expencive because of all the changes in the fuselage and cóckpit.

    But to make things more vague, there are discusions about moving the Il-76 production from TAPO to VASO, because Ilyushin and the Russian state don’t like things to be foreign, and they like to get some money from recent and future Il-76 deals, with for example China….

    oh and another addition

    @ 12h, the Bulgarian L-39ZO’s weren’t those from the former Soviet Aviation School “Lygovaya” which is situated in Krgyzstan. Just a wild guess, but those guys were selling quite some Albatroses…. Not sure though:confused:

    Hello there, usually I just lurke around, but I know an anwser, so decided to jump in.

    @ 2d) Arent they still building the Yak-9 at the Orenburg plant, it is a fighter, but I don’t know if it counts in this case 🙂 But they are making some WWII Yak-designed fighter at the Orenburg plant for collectors
