Excellent weather compared to when i was there thursday!
Skyservice A330 hasn’t moved i see 😀
Great pictures Grey!!! 😀 – I was up on car park level 13 today at about the same time and will see what the quality of the pics is like when I get back home and whether any are worth posting. For reference, the Eurocypria was parked right outside my hotel room 😎 , along with the Excel 738 (don’t think it has moved since Thursday) and the Air Malta 320 this morning.
Elgan – the weather on Thursday was terrible. On landing the F/O told us that visibility was down to less than 800m.
Couple of quick questions:
1. Was there a Monarch parked up at T2 this morning? It looked as though it was at one of the far stands.
2. Have Excel changed the shade of blue used in their livery? The two that were parked on the apron seemed different.

Most of their aircraft have the “the web’s favourite airline” slogan on them, so any rebranding would probably be a costly exercise.

Seems like Air Wales’ plan is to replicate that Dan Air idea in the 70’s of having flights from one end of the UK to the other with various intermittent stops (I can’t remember what it was called – City Link or something?) with their Aberdeen-Liverpool-Cardiff-Plymouth flights.

Great informative report there Comet. Thanks!
Isn’t it closed after noon on Saturday, or something?
It’s virtually closed on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. I guess there’s no demand from the business community.
