London City is an airport that i thought was great, but i was told no photography there. Cant beleive that.

Been there a few times as it’s very local for me. Nobody has ever bothered me (see my pics for proof).

There was talk of building a separate loco terminal at MAN a few years ago – maybe this is the new strategy.

Any expansion at Blackpool would probably be constrained by the length of the runway and proximity of local buildings. In my opinion the Ryanair service is a good addition, but I think it was introduced along with the Newquay service for Londoners taking holidays just as much as for the local population. Liverpool and Manchester have far bigger catchment areas and are more prominent, though Blackpool does well with Irish Sea traffic (Isle of Man, Belfast City, Dublin etc).

Probably some ironic marketing ploy to grab attention.

Personally, i don’t like terminal one at all, particularly arrivals, it so depressing and getting picked up once your out of the building is a nightmare.
