Oh, never knew that! Would have thought if they had the same design it would get a little confusing? Just like the star alliance!

I’m not sure whether their route network overlaps very much. Armavia is the national Armenian airline whereas Sibir is the main Russian carrier in Siberia (formerly Aeroflot Siberia), based in Novosibirsk. I think the tail on the old Sibir/Armavia is supposed to represent the fir trees of Siberia 😉 . Really like the new Armavia livery – bold use of orange 🙂 .
