It was first registered with LTU-Sud in May 1989. LTU-Sud and LTE being the same thing I take it ?
That would make sense, LTE was originally the Spanish arm of LTU.

This would have originally been an LTE (now Volar Airlines) machine I think as the designator code is -G5.

In retrospect, it looks like some sort of PR exercise to publicise the airline prior to its launch and demonstrate the financial backing it has. What concerns me is the fact that few airlines of this nature (i.e. all premium business class) (MGM Grand Air, Blue Fox, etc) have had any success.
