Good morning Anon. That’s nice. Learning by doing – or – every day something new to learn;0))) Send me a mail with the details please. I’ve sended you all my adress in a mail – hope you will get it.
Hi Anon. We build an experimental homebuild aircraft with a V8 chevy engine and the Dehavilland prop. We will use a propgear and have to fix the prop with the original Alvis Leonides 3 spline propshaft. Aircraft should fly some day. The mandrel is an interesting thing. I wondered all the time how they do service and fix these big props in a repair shop. Here a pic of the gear with a smaler spline. We have to modify it with the 3 spline shaft. Viele Grüße Harald
I think without the splines it wouldn’t be possible to mount the prop. Do you have such a part Anon? How does that look like – any pics possible? Thanks Harald
Hi, what about the engines now. I found your offer yesterday and like to know what happened to the engines. We are looking for a prop extention of an Alvis Leonides for the Dehavilland Prop. It’s the english 3 spline extension at the propgear. Regards harald
