Does it really matter? The correct decision was made.

If, straight after the rain on Wednesday, it was cancelled and there then followed 2 days of perfect sunshine you would probably criticised them for doing so.

Damned if they do and damned if they dont

I really like the image of the Dep flying over the old Tree. Its amazing how far we have come in the last 100 years!

Finally a shot from my mobile (how bad is digital zoom!) showing the rainbow as we pushed aircraft away in the rain!

What really annoys me is the way that they find their way into the Non-Fiction sections of some Bookshops.

So who is going to write to the Display organisers and complain then, or are you all going to give your “expert” opinion on an internet forum?

This clause has been on Air Tattoo tickets for as long as I can remember. There are ways round it. In any case it wont affect many on here.

I fully understand the need to watermark your images. I’d rather see them on here with watermarks than not at all.

    Cracking work mate.

About time, alright. Like the JH-7 before it, eventually the thing will be official and it is 🙂

The culmination of years of J-10 watching.

Has no-one noticed that this is probably the worlds worst Photoshopped image?

(not that it detracts from the others though)

Don’t think the rules are simple! If he was off duty and wearing ‘civvies’, then the CC rule doesn’t apply? I have published hundreds of my own photos from when I was in the RAF, but they don’t automatically become CC. How would anyone know if I was on or off duty or what I was wearing??

Wouldnt it be a good idea for you to check, I’d hate for your collection be to Crown Copyright (I can see no reference to a time limit on the Government website which explains the rules for publishing CC material.)

Yes, that’s correct if it was taken within the last 30 years – but this was taken in 1963!

Which is probably why the copyright owner, The Crown, had no objection.

The photo was taken by a 56 Sqn. “Firebirds” team pilot who is a good friend of mine!

If he was a serving member of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and on duty or wearing uniform at the time then they ARE Crown Copyright no matter for what reason they were taken.

For instance, off duty but wearing issue flying kit then CC. The rules are simple.
