Steve Richie is no longer flying the Collings Foundation F-4. There are one or two other F-4 qualified pilots in The States however.

Great work Victor, looks like the Alien Technology is really working for ya!

Good to meet you on the Pylons, my own shots will be up in a few days after I have worked on them on someting other than a laptop screen. 😉

Ref the codeword for the successful operation

I guess it’s a decision we don’t have to make today

Its not a decision you have to make at all! Its Nigger, anything else is bullsh1t.

I do not have a good feeling about this film. Not a good feeling at all.

I have never seen a Merlin cut itself in half like that. We heard the explosion while out on the Pylons, looked towards the pits and as we couldnt see smoke thought nothing more of it.

Such a great group of people too.

Failing that, it would be nice to think she could be donated to the RNHF, and perhaps it would save on shipping costs if Eddie Kurdziel donated his Firefly at the same time…well, we can dream

They were parked next to each other at Oshkosh and by all accounts WG655 is a magnificent restoration with a Bristol up front to boot! As for donating it, well a nice plan and we can dream.

If ever a man needed an Old Warden fix, Philip Rhodes is that man!

If ever it all gets too much (I’m fat, I really dislike the management at work but really like my job and sometimes I have to remind myself that aviation is a hobby not a lifes dedication) then I sit in the conservatory and watch the birds in the garden.

Then I shoot them and have them for tea.

    Very satisfying

I was joking about the shooting bit

It has a 3350 up front. The owner is a good friend, infact I will see him next week.

    Sea Fury

Nasty horrible smelly thing, very cramped in the back and the pilot insists on checking you for loose change 😀

be good for the BBMF to move there

For who. The general public who, after years of going to Coningsby now have to find Scampton

The Tourist Authorities who have to trash lots of expensive marketing materials because they say Coningsby and not Scampton

Or perhaps (and this is the most important) the servicemen and women who have to uproot their families to move them a few miles (not much distance but a lot of time on Lincolnshire roads) to accommodation that has already been condemmed.

You have already been told by at least three different past and serving members of the RAF that it isnt happeneing. Which part of this are you having difficulty with?

I reckon sponsorship is the way to go.

How about the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight brought to you by Ann Summers?

Fluffy, you could even do a spot of modelling:D
